Our Office for Rent is Ready for the State to Resume Business Operations

With the world trying to recover from a global pandemic, our state has decided to take its’ first steps to resume business operations. Our office space has been open for some time now, but with many precautions taken and changes happening. We assume many businesses will experience similar changes when they reopen next week. When our office for rent reopened we made the safety of public health a top priority. Here’s what has changed at the Downtown Duval Building and what precautions we have taken.

Our “New” Office for Rent

  1. Everything Must be Sanitized!

Well, first things first. We were always sure to keep our office space clean, presentable and as germ-free as possible. But, now we go above and beyond what we have ever done before for sanitation. When the number of cases started to increase, we asked our cleaning service to focus solely on sanitizing the building. We were all quarantining ourselves at the time, so it was the perfect opportunity to clean EVERYTHING.

  2. Continue to Sanitize, Sanitize, Sanitize.

Every morning we sanitize everything that is touched regularly. This includes: microwaves, drawer handles, filing cabinet handles, door knobs, light switches, keyboards, sink and toilet handles, buttons, etc. The only way to mitigate risk is to clean everything we touch as often as possible!

  3. Try to Wear a Mask.

While there is great controversy as to how effective wearing a mask is, it can’t hurt. At least if someone sneezes or coughs it won’t be immediately spread on multiple surfaces! Wether you get top-rated masks or use homemade cloth masks, they’ll help minimize the risk for all individuals by slowing the spread of germs. At our building, we ask that everyone wear a mask in common areas, but are free to take them off in private offices. It’s not a requirement by any means, just highly recommended in our building.

  4. Social Distance from EVERYONE.

Sure, you can be in the same room and not wear a mask all the time, but be smart about it. Staying 6 feet away and be around only a few people at a time. This is the best way to help stop the spread of this nasty virus. We have made it a “rule” here to keep your distance when and where you can.

Now, we aren’t saying what we do is right or the best options. We are sure there are plenty of other tips and tricks to keeping everyone safe. This is just some of the changes we’ve made and some of the first steps we’ve taken to ensure the safety of everyone in our building.

With that being said, if you’re looking for an office space we have private offices available for immediate move in. You can easily socially distance yourself at our office while still enjoying some social time with other tenants and being out of the house. Schedule a virtual walkthrough of our spaces anytime by emailing or calling us!
